Northern Michigan's finest growers, makers & craftspeople — one roof, one market, one community.
Every Saturday, from spring through fall, the market opens its doors to local farmers, artisan bakers, handcrafted jewelry makers, and the people who value real food and real makers.

Rooted in the Upper Peninsula since day one.
Manistique Farmer & Artisan Market was born from a simple conviction: the best food and crafts come from people who know their land, their ingredients, and their craft. We are not a chain, not a franchise, and not a pop-up. We are a permanent fixture on Oak Street — a gathering place where growers, bakers, foragers, potters, and makers from across the region show up week after week.
Whether you are looking for heirloom tomatoes in August, wild rice in September, or a hand-thrown mug to sip your morning coffee from all year round, this market is built for you.

Every item on display has a story — and usually a face attached to it. Here is what you can expect when you walk through the market.
Fresh Produce
Heirloom tomatoes, crisp greens, root vegetables, sweet corn, and seasonal fruits — all grown within driving distance of Manistique.
Baked Goods
Sourdough loaves, flaky pastries, seasonal pies, and artisan breads — fresh out of the oven before the market opens.
Preserves & Pantry
Small-batch jams, fermented vegetables, hot sauces, dried herbs, and spice blends — shelf-stable flavors you can take home.
Honey & Maple
Raw wildflower honey from local apiaries and pure maple syrup from up north sugarhouses — the taste of this region in a jar.
Handcrafted Goods
Pottery, woven textiles, carved wood, jewelry, candles, and one-of-a-kind art — each piece made by hand in the region.
Ready-to-Eat
Hot meals, fresh salads, smoothies, and snacks — because sometimes you want to taste before you shop.
A Saturday tradition that brings the whole region together.
The Manistique Farmer & Artisan Market is where neighbors become regulars, where visitors discover the flavors of the Upper Peninsula, and where local makers earn the livelihood they deserve. We host seasonal events, cooking demos, and workshops that keep the community engaged long after the stalls close.
If you have a craft, a recipe, or a harvest to share — we want to hear from you. Vendor space is available every season, and we prioritize local producers who live and work in the region.
